I used to use Sass or Less as CSS pre-processor but this time I try Stylus – it looks promising and interesting: the fewer code than Sass or Less.
This is how I use that:
– Install Nodejs (of course :))
– Install package:
npm install stylus -g
– Install Visual Studio Code – VSCode is my best choice right now for the most of my projects.
– Open Extensions in VSCode and find language-stylus
–Â This extension help stylus file with Syntax highlighting, symbols provider,…
– Open VSCode TERMINAL, point to your stylus file and watch it using stylus syntax:
stylus -w css\index.stylus -o css\index.css\
And css file will be change whenever the stylus file is changed
